GeometricMovingAverage(String,Series,Int32) Method

Calculates the Geometric Moving Average (GMA) for a given period for all possible data points (i.e. periods) for which there is sufficient historical data provided.

Parameters

seriesName: The name of the series which will be displayed on the chart, i.e. its label.
s: A statistical series.
lengthOfMA: The number of periods over which the moving average is evaluated for each period.

Return Value

A series where the first term corresponds to the Moving Average on the last period and the previous value is the value of the Moving average on the previous period and so on.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentException	Thrown if the series is empty.
